*Capitalism: a type of economic system
*Economic Systems: the way we coordinate the production and distribution of goods in the society.
-The economic system affects each aspect of human life from how and what we produce and consume and how we contact to each other.
-The current economic system we live in today is called capitalism
-A nonher important thing to understand is that it is not ineluctably natural meaning that capitalism is human made. We as manhood structured our society.
Because capitalism is human made, this also means that it is not something that has always existed, nor will it always exist.
-In fact, capitalism is a very recent economic system.

*Profit/Surplus Value: the surplus money that owners make from change their product. Surplus comes directly from selling the product for more then what it costs to produce it.
