What do people mobilize about when they hear about Nike? Is it the swoosh, the famous athletes, or the sweatshops? In society, people tend to remember the negative things that occur in spite of appearance a party or any organization. Nike has dealt with many criticisms all over the unethical behavior that the company demonstrated in factories foreign. The company was in a rapid rise during the early 1990s. many of the values that the twain founders firmly believed in were sacrificed during the rise. Nike has an ethical vent that can be resolved by moving the overseas factories to the United States.
How did Nike become one of the largest brands across the world? It started with two men. Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight are two men that had a vision, a plan, and brought about a billion dollar industry. Mr. Bowerman was the buzz off behind and field coach for the University of Oregon. The track and field program was an elect(ip) program, so Bowerman always was looking for ways for his athletes to gain an edge. He experimented with different re-hydration drinks, track surfaces, and data track shoes for his athletes. Finally, Bowerman came to the conclusion that ladder shoes would dramatically improve his team.

He offered his ideas about running shoes to manufactures, but they ignored him. Bowerman kept his ideas and did not travel along any other opportunities for a few years. One of Bowermans athletes, Phil Knight, ran for Oregon at the time. After graduation, Knight went on to get his MBA in finance at Stanford University.
Knight and Bowerman took their ideas and made them into a reality. It started with Knight while getting his MBA at Stanford.
