Our employers spy on all of us one way or another. Employers get to the right to intuitive feeling over your emails, how long your calculator subterfuge has been idle, view what you have currently have displayed on your computer screen, and any software downloads you have recently downloaded ( Workplace candour its everyones job, 2008). Everything and anything the company you bailiwick for has provided for you they have the right to over look because it is their property they have lent to you to do your job. I result be discussing what are email use, net profit use, and privacy at my job, what the current law regulating employee email and internet privacy, and why companies implement emails and internet use policies.
Policies at my job
My previous employer did not have any set in stone policies intimately using the internet and sending emails. There was more of a sense that you should know that you should not use the internet and email for anything not work related. The company I use to work for did monitor what we did through our emails and what we were searching for or doing online. The company I worked for would print forbidden a list of what websites you visited, what time and run across you visited the website, and for how long you were on the website.



The same goes for the emails, the company could print out what our email contained, whom it was sent to, and what time and date it was sent charge though it had already been erased from your computer. The companys owner would bring it to our attention when we would be caught up on our not work related internet searches and stopped working. The company had a three write up policy. If you were written up three times for the same have thing, you would be terminated.
