Introduction
As an art historian, I have traveled through many time periods and explored many of amazing cultures. I have seen firsthand the detail of all art effect every antiquated culture has to offer. The civilizations that stand out most to me atomic number 18, the Early Japanese, Egyptian and Islamic Civilizations. Society at these times created great work with detail and a priceless meaning behind it. These terzetto civilizations produced amazing architecture during their times. History as we know it would not be the same without the work that was created by these talented civilizations.
Early Japanese Civilization
Horyu-ji Temple
During my trip to the Early Japanese Civilization, I visited the Horyu-ji Temple. This synagogue is the oldest wooden temple in the world, believing to be at least 1300 years old.
The Early Japanese Civilization was introduced to a religion that they sboulder clay continue to honor and worship till this present day. According to Sacred Destination, Buddhism had arrived in Japan provided 50 years before the temple was built. The main nominate of the temple was to properly house the statue of Medicine Buddha (2005-2010).
In the temple there is a sculpture of the Shaka Triad. The Shaka Triad is of Buddha whose original yell is Shakyamuni, who sits in the middle and on his left and right are bodhisattvas.
