In my 26 years of living I have experienced many things. Different cultures, once in a life duration events, and people that I never view I would meet but, glad I did. A major(ip) reason why I was able to do and assist so many things is because of my eight years in the unify States Marine Corps. With so many memories, good and not so good, it’s only a select few that assume out more than the rest. One memory that stands out is a trip me and a few of my friends took to Atlanta.
It was the end of June back in 2001 at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The Fourth of July was coming up and people were starting to decide where they were going to go for our five, untold deserved, days off of work! A couple of my friends, mike And Chris, were talking about going to Atlanta and asked me if I exigencyed to go. Mike had a sister, Tasha, that lived in Douglass ville, Georgia, a suburb justly outside Atlanta, and she already agreed that him and a couple of friends could visit. Chris in any case had family in Atlanta. He had a cousin that worked in a popular nightclub named The Bounce. He was the head of security.
He told Chris if we came follow up he could let us in the club for free. Since I was the only one with a car at the time, they give tongue to they would pay for the gas if I wanted to go. It seem kindred a fair deal so I obstinate to go along.
It was two days left till it was time to leave. We were getting excited about the trip and rightfully so! Although we were Marines, we were only teenagers.
