According to Encarta Dictionary, Badminton is a game equal to tennis, using rackets to strike a boocock back and onward across a high net. Badminton is played in single or in duplicate. In a singles game, in that respect argon two competing musicians. In a doubles game, on that point are two competing teams composed of two players each. The players take positions on opposite gradients of the court that is divided by a net.
on that point are six dishonors that hardlyt occur during a play. They are the following:
1. If the shuttle passes under the net or does not pass over the net.
2. If a player hits the shuttle forward it crosses the net to the opponents side and hits the net with their body or racquet.
3. If the player and their partner hit the shuttle with successive shots.
4. If the shuttle drops outside the court.
5. If the shuttle hits a player during a play, it is a fault against the player who is hit.
6. If a player hits the shuttle against obstructions above or around the court.
Players score points by hitting a shuttle (birdie) with their racquet so that the shuttle goes over the net and onto the opponents side of the court. Only the server or serving side whoremaster win a point. The serve always starts on the regenerate side of the court. On the prototypal serve of a doubles game only one partner serves. After the first serve, both partners are entitled to serve. A toss ends at once the shuttle has hit the floor.
Overall, badminton is a fun sport, once you have the rules. I have not played a badminton game, but I watched my classmates play it on Monday. Its not as easy as it looks, but it is fun! My classmates told me. I cant wait to play it!
